How our team makes safety a priority:
Our team takes safety very seriously. At competitions, in the workshop, and everywhere in between, safety is our number one priority. It is our goal to make our girls' time on the team as safe and enjoyable an experience as possible. At the beginning of the year/season, we host safety workshops at which we review the team safety policy as well as administer a basic safety quiz and training sessions on tools and machines for all new members or those in need of a refresher.
Our girls are required to attend a safety session and must be specifically trained on machinery by a mentor before being allowed to use it.

In order to compose our safety policy, we consulted the FIRST official safety manual as well as the safety manual of team 1816.
